Broderie anglaise which is French for English embroidery is a whitework needlework technique consisting of embroidery, cutwork and needle lace creating a pretty lace effect which is as much popular today as it was in the 19th century.

This traditional pretty fabric is suitable for dress fabric, nursery bedding, christening wear and much more and is available in a wide range of pastel soft colours such as white, cream, baby blue and baby pink, making it ideal dress wear for babies or the perfect addition to any nursery soft furnishings!
